Acorn Recruitment is recruiting for an excellent opportunity for a graduate to join a leading chemistry based company based in Runcorn as a Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Business Director, the purpose of the role is to develop relationships with customers all over the world responding to customer requests and developing growth opportunities where possible.
This role has potential for the successful candidate to develop into a Business Management position supporting and eventually covering for the Business Director.
Duties of the role include:
* Responding, monitoring and researching tenders from existing and potential customers.
* Providing high quality responses for tender questionnaires covering quality, safety, compliance, CSR and environmental.
* Identifying and researching new products and applications to grow product range.
* Completing monthly account management and finance reports for key customers using MS Excel and internal systems.
The successful candidate must have a STEM degree or business related study with a strong chemistry background. Must be able to work on own initiative and be able to plan time and work to strict deadlines. Experience working in a customer facing role would be an advantage.
The role will be a hybrid style of working, home based / office based.
Salary is £22-24k depending on experience to offer accompanied with an excellent benefits package that can be expected of a global company.
